The Creepiest Thing

Today my Mom was driving us down to the beach (I know, it's a little cold but it is nice to walk along the boardwalk when no one else is around). We saw three identical white vans in a row, maintaining distance and driving the same speed. Not like soccer-mom minivans either, but the larger cargo vans with no windows except in the cab and small ones on the back doors.

She made me get down in my seat when she passed them. She said she couldn't see much, except that each van had a male driver and passenger wearing what looked like dark blue jackets and blue ball caps. Every one she could see was wearing sunglasses as well, even though it was kind of a gray day.

She said the driver of the lead car is the only one that looked over at her. She wasn't sure, but she thought he might have given her a little nod.

She didn't want to go to the beach after that, but I insisted. We actually had a pretty good time. The seagulls don't care that I'm dead.

I agree that'd be a nice call. But then why not tell the zombies (if i may call you that) that they are protecting them??? And why not tell the DB studies people about it...it just doesn't work out.

Watch yourself tommy. We got your back no matter what.

I'm glad your safe. Those white vans are trouble! Oh, and I am glad you enjoyed yourself at the beach! Tell Pheobe I said Hi!

That is beyond creepy! I would've run as far away from that beach as possible if I were you. You are braaave!

in response to werewolf moon:

if they are protecting them, they are probably from the government, which is a pretty secretive agency. they may not be able to tell them what they are protecting them from, because that would cause panic. right now no one is sure that anything is after them, so everyone is just fine, if not maybe a LITTLE suspicious.

once it is definite that something bad is after you it tends to create pandemonium, which would actually put MORE people at risk.

overall, i'm not saying to go knocking on the windows of those white vans and chat a bit with the driver. of course saftey first, you should still be wary of them.

i just don't think they're all that bad.

well at least there kinda civilized with those who arent dead.... but that still does not make them good people!

im glad you had a good timee! :)

White Vans? Good thing you ducked!
It was risky thing but at least you got some free time in your day!!

You might be on to something, i agree, but don't you think it's just causing a heck of a lot more panic, because they have to be scared all the time????

I know what you mean by those vans, I went shopping one day with my bff caroline, and went to go get a pretzel she prdered a few minutes ago, and she was gone. A white van was speeding away. She loved pretzels so much, and because of the salt she could sorta taste it. So now everytime I see a pretzel, I think of my Dead again freind. *Sniff*

what is there to panic over when nothing is definite?

Anonymous said...

My dad and I were out the other day and we saw two of the vans, though they weren't together. They couldn't have been the same one, or I may have been comforted a bit.

I'm glad you're alright; your mother was right to have you duck when she went by. I'll keep keeping an eye out for them if you'll keep posting about them! =D

It isn't paranoia if they're really out to get you.

A few months ago, after reading the blog, I counted all the white vans I saw for a week.
I counted 130.

ImThe'Laugh'In'Slaughter' said...

Nothing good will come out of those vans.
Watch your back, Tommy. That isn't the last you will see of them.

EGoldstein said...

I've gotta say, the beach is always worth it.

Anime Face-
Nothing may be definate to them. But the panic is not knowing what's really going on. Like why would Tommy and Faith be nervous about the white vans if there was nothing to worry about.

I've been watching the debate between Anime Face and Werewolf moon. And i have to say i find myself agreeing with the wolf. I just wanted to make that known. Please be careful tommy, nothing good will come from those vans.

I'm not saying that they are going about it the right way. Maybe they SHOULD tell them what's going on, but they don't want to because it seems a bit risky. I'm just trying to see it from their point of view IF they are good.

I'm not even saying they ARE good.

I'm saying they MIGHT be good.

Signs of mischievous white vans in Oakvale? Better be careful, we definetly don't wait any other DBs reterminated. Try not to worry about it Tommy, but just keep an eye out for them.

Anonymous said...

they mite try to kill u again

AnimeFace-
Like i said before, i agree with you 100% it's an awesome thought, but the possiblity of it being true, is slim to none. Not with the redeath of one of the dbs already (and the appearence of the vans)

my apologies for believing in the goodness of mankind.

how very foolish of me.

I think animeface has a good point--panic helps people about as much as a lack of caution does. Last time I let myself get all sketched out over a Fed Ex truck.

But people are disappearing...that isn't a joke.

I know where you're coming from AnimeFace. And i apologize for our difference in opinions. But now that i think about it Tommy has a point too, they shouldn't be panicy and then again shouldn't be placated either. The goodness of humanity itself is a sketchy subject (not all are good, not all are bad) we have different opinions, which is where good plans begin. I'm just saying.

Ello Tommy. I wonder what would have happened if you hadn't ducked down.

So seagulls are less prejudiced than cats. I'll have to remember that.

White van? Not good, not good at all. But at least we know that seagulls are more acepting then cats, or at least your cat, Tommy.

White Vans, not good, not good at all. Stay safely away from them, Tommy. But from this we did learn that seagulls like zombies more then cats do. I'm not saying all cats are evil but yours, yeah it just might be.
