The Wall

Pretty impressive--since inviting people to send pics to the Wall of the Dead, we've had 41 people, zombies and trads alike, join. And what a good looking group we have.

You know what makes me happy? The fact that Rae, my bus driver, seems to not care that she has zombies on her bus. I wish that all of my teachers were the same way--they don't do anything really overt, but you can tell the ones who wish we'd just lie down already.

Sorry, folks. Not going to happen.

it's so great that this cause is gaining more support!!

i'm really glad Rae is nonchalant about the whole thing, i think all of the teachers should be, otherwise that would be prejudice.
(by the way, my best friend's middle name is Rae!!!)

but i think over time, everyone will learn to (or have to) accept the differently biotic.

eventually...

yea! we are yall are getting more support and i know that makes you really happy. doesn't it? well im happy that your bus driver is nice to you. so how can you tell when your teachers dont like you? and anime, i agree that people may eventually except the fact that there are differently biotic people and they need to deal with it, and learn to be nice to yall.

eventually...

I wish more people were like Rae. Just because we don't have a heart beat doesn't mean we aren't people too.

Hey Tommy! I want to start this letter by saying that i'm unfamiliar with this whole debate and have gathered the information i know only from your blog, but from what i've read, i believe that people need to look past their own lives and realize that the world is constantly changing and that it happens everywhere. i think it is wonderful that you have the courage to stand up for your cause and by doing so starting your own revolution for peace. i'm truly happy that Rae is so indifferent and maybe even happy about driving you to school. you have to start somewhere, right?

hahahahaha! Thats cool! Good for her! But you have to look at the other teachers piont of view too! You can't just look at your own! It isn't fair you no! The other teachers don't understand and thats why you should help them try to understand. They are scared of what they don't know and are expressing it differently then other people! So try looking at the poor teacher point of view and help them out hey were only human!!!!! = )

Tommy, it's great that Rae is acts so indifferently. It's important not to make others feel left out, no matter if their undead or not. I'm glad you're cause is going great. I don't really no what else to say other then the fact that I support you guys all the way. Hope to hear more from you sometime!!

I'm glad for you. I know how it can be to be left out for something outside of one's control. To have even one person who treats you like any other person must be amazing for you.

That's one thing that loved ones can forget, even though they give positive attention, it's still implied as being different in some way. It's not quite the same as pure indifference.

How's Phoebe, by the way?

What stands in the way tommy isn't differences . Its when where not willing to see past those differences to find each other. Rae
Rae gets it. she sees past the differences and treats you like a passenger on her bus not something to be feared or pitted. i respect that and i respect her
